Tomato & Tuna Spaghetti

Spaghetti in a tomato and tuna sauce with a hint of chilli powder.


  • 3 large tomatoes (approx 115g each), coarsely chopped
  • 90g of value spaghetti
  • 1 80g tin of tuna, drained
  • 1 tbsp vegetable oil
  • 1 large garlic clove, finely chopped
  • 1 tsp mild chilli powder
  • 2 tsp grated Parmesan

  1. Cook the spaghetti according to the packet instructions.
  2. Meanwhile, heat the oil in a frying pan and fry the garlic over a low heat for 1-2 minutes. Add the chilli powder and fry for 30 seconds. Stir in the tomatoes and cook for 6-8 minutes, or until tomatoes begin to break down. Mix in the tuna and heat until piping hot. Season to taste with salt and pepper.
  3. Drain the spaghetti and toss with the tomato and tuna sauce. Serve immediately topped with Parmesan cheese.
