Chicken Pesto Pasta

Quick-and-easy chicken and pesto pasta dish topped with Parmesan cheese.


  • 4 skinless chicken breast fillets, cut into 2cm pieces
  • 190g of green pesto
  • 60g of Parmesan cheese, grated
  • 360g of penne pasta quills
  • 1 large clove of garlic, finely chopped
  • 2 tbsp olive oil

  1. Cook the pasta according to the packet instructions.
  2. Meanwhile, heat the oil in a frying pan and fry the chicken and garlic over a medium heat for 5-6 minutes, or until the chicken is cooked.
  3. Toss together the pasta, pesto, chicken and half the Parmesan. Season to taste with salt and pepper. Divide between plates and serve topped with the remaining grated Parmesan.
