Strawberries & Cream

Fresh strawberries served with double cream and a home-made strawberry purée.

  • 400g of strawberries, hulled
  • white caster sugar, to taste

  1. To make the strawberry purée, place one-third of the strawberries in a bowl and mash with a fork until smooth (or blitz in a food processor). Pass the purée through a sieve to remove the seeds and sweeten to taste with a little white caster sugar.
  2. Serve the strawberries in bowls with the cream and strawberry purée.
